Planning a memorable event, especially a wedding, requires more than just a beautiful venue. Canopy Creek Farm is so much more than just a reception space. We’re all about your entire event experience!

Our venue is conveniently located between Cincinnati and Dayton in historic Miamisburg, Ohio just minutes from I-75 and I-675. The farm is a few short miles from all the conveniences of Austin Landing, the Dayton Mall, and downtown Miamisburg. There are tons of restaurants, shopping, fun activities, and nightlife. Just down the road, there is also a large variety of new hotels.  In other words, everything you need to plan your wedding or special event is just minutes away.

We both grew up and raised our family in historical Miamisburg, Ohio, which is why we built the venue here. Between us, we have helped manage large international companies and managed businesses of our own for over 30 years.

We acquired the 24-acre farm in 2012, then, quickly began the development of the perfect “Country Chic” venue. We are always here for you, striving to make your event special. Canopy Creek Farm will make your wedding, corporate event, fundraiser, graduation, or family celebration an event to remember.

Megan Freeze

Sales and Marketing Manager

Megan has joined Canopy Creek Farm in the role of Sales and Marketing Manager, marking the transition to a fully family-run business. Megan has been actively involved in the operations of the business since its inception. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her position. Known for her keen attention to detail and proficiency in computer and social media platforms, Megan is well-equipped to execute her responsibilities.

Doug Freeze

Operations Manager

In April of 2019, we welcomed Doug Freeze to our Canopy Creek Farm staff as Operations Manager. After 13 years in the pharmaceutical industry and several of those years as a manager, Doug was ready for a career change. Doug now manages Canopy Creek Farm with confidence and is continually helping us raise the bar improving the venue and grounds. He also has an eye for detail, is hardworking, caring, understanding, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Doug also has the distinction of being our son-in-law further expanding the family business.

Angela Rouse

Wedding Coordinator

Angie is the owner of Events Planned LLC and has also been a coordinator at Canopy Creek Farm since 2016. Angie and her team bring a wide range of event experiences with her from planning black-tie galas to destination weddings and everything in between. She also has extensive knowledge about catering and event rentals/design and will gladly help you navigate all the different planning and design aspects of your event. Aside from her many event planning talents, she is also a joy to work with and always has glowing reviews from clients.

Rachael Sense

Wedding Coordinator

Rachael is the owner of Happily Ever Events Wedding and Event Planning. Rachael began the company in 2014 and since has grown the team with four other planners. Happily Ever Events specializes in making a beautiful, relaxing, and stress free day for their couples.

Michelle Miskell

Wedding Coordinator

Michelle is the owner of Glamorous Weddings and has been in the wedding industry since 2010. In 2012, she opened Glamorous Weddings. Throughout the years, she's learned what it takes to be a successful coordinator. From small intimate vow renewals to large weddings, Michelle and her team will help you plan the wedding of your dreams!

Jena Steinke

Wedding Coordinator

Jena is the owner of Blush + Bloom Wedding & Event Planning, which has been another fabulous addition to our team! Jena joined our team after many other wedding vendors said, “You must add Blush + Bloom Weddings to your all-star roster of wedding coordinators!”

Jena, Lisa, and Chantelle are the experienced pros behind B+B Weddings and we know you’ll love them as much as we do.

Janet Collinsworth

Wedding Coordinator

Janet comes with over 13 years experience. The last 8 years with Canopy Creek Farm. She is also an officiant licensed in Ohio. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming for a couple.  Janet pays attention to all the details that are unique to your wedding.  Her goal is to ensure her couples wedding day experience is relaxing, fun and memorable. Once you meet with her, you’ll have the confidence that all her experience brings.
